Who The Hell Are These People?

Proposed in 1997 by two bored then-high school students, The Couch was finally launched in April, 1999.

Five months and two URL changes later, The Couch's audience seems to be growing.

That said, let's meet the people who are at fault for making this site possible.

Brad Preston (Co-Creator/Webmaster) lives in Spokane, WA. A self-described dork, Brad's 19 and is taking a year off of school before he starts college in the fall of 2000. In the meantime, he'll just have to stick to his job hawking software in the local mall. Brad is responsible for the majority of the HTML work on this site and created all of the graphics you see herein. Brad is also the author of "Cheese: A Collection of Stuff" and is the writer of the short-subject film, "Night."

Bill Gilman (Co-Creator/Webmaster), also 19, is very experienced in the field of sitting on couches. Bill also lives in Spokane, but he can't wait to get the hell out of there. Also a staffer at TWF and EWA, Bill is a pretty popular guy in the world of e-wrestling. On top of all that, he's currently in the final stages of writing his screenplay. What a busy guy! Oh yeah... and man, can he make a mean Big Mac.

Mike Sabol (Scannin' The Headlines) is a Freshman at Penn State. When he's not at keggers, Mike likes to look up Internet pornography.

Matthew Weaver (Special Correspondent) is a freshman at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. In his spare time, he enjoys dreaming about prospective future spouses and grooming his goatee. Matthew, 18, was one of four valledictorians in his high school graduating class (he told us he wouldn't write for us unless we mentioned that on the site).

Dr. Wilson Wells Wofford (Ask Dr. WWW) is The Couch's advice columnist. Nobody knows much about this guy, except for the fact that he recently spent a night in jail for picking a fight with a Hooters bouncer. Dr. Wofford lives somewhere in the Eastern United States.
